Winter Parking Rules are in effect!
Alternate side parking in the Village takes effect on December 1st and runs through March 15th each year. Between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 am, vehicles shall be parked on the even-numbered side of the street on even-numbered days of the month and on the odd-numbered side of the street on odd-numbered days of the month. Please be aware of what day it will be after midnight of the evening you park.

Wisconsin Dells Parkway Rehab
The Wisconsin Dells Parkway (US Hwy. 12) is a federal highway which is getting reconstructed beginning in 2026. Some work could actually start as early as December (2025) if the weather cooperates. This three year project is scheduled to work around the Dells areas summer season so traffic can keep flowing, but they cannot guarantee this project will be free of any traffic issues.
The proposed improvements include a 5-lane roadway with two lanes in each direction separated by a Two-Way Left-Turn Lane (TWLTL) in the median between County A and E. Adams Street. The roadway pavement, curb and gutter would be replaced as part of the project, signals and pedestrian crossings upgraded, and a shared use path constructed on the west side of the road between County A and Olympus Road. The Village will make every effort to keep this page up-to-date with local information if it is shared with us, but we recommend you follow the project on the Wisconsin DOT's website at 511wi.gov. The project will be active on their site once the project begins.
